For Honor PC requirements: which GPUs run it while it sells for $2.99
For Honor is $2.99 on Steam with a 90% discount and in the middle of its Blood Hunt season. Here are its PC requirements, which GPUs clear the minimum and the recommended on canirun, and how it does on Steam Deck.

For Honor, Ubisoft’s melee fighting game where Knights, Samurai, Vikings and Wu Lin clash in 4v4, 2v2 or 1v1 battles, is currently $2.99 on Steam with a 90% discount. The timing is good: the Y10S3 season, Blood Hunt, started on September 10 and added Dominion to ranked play, which used to be Duel only. If you never tried it because you weren’t sure your PC could handle it, now is a good time to check, especially since we also adjusted how canirun grades it.
If you’re starting fresh, Ubisoft posted a new player guide on September 15 built around its Skill Challenge series, covering everything from basic combat to feints, punishes and team fights.

What changed in canirun’s grades
Steam didn’t touch the requirements: the minimum and recommended text is the same as before. What changed is the reference score we use for the recommended requirement, which went from 6,000 to 9,050. The minimum stays at 3,000. In practice, For Honor grades are now stricter on cards that sit close to the recommended.
Grades are measured against the recommended requirement, assuming 16 GB of RAM:
- Radeon RX 580: clears the minimum and grades C (Tight). Steam names it in the recommended specs, but against canirun’s current reference it falls short of our recommended, so it runs with little headroom.
- GTX 1650: also clears the minimum and grades C (Tight).
- GTX 1060 6GB: meets the recommended, grading B (Solid).
- RTX 3050: clears the recommended comfortably and grades A (Smooth).
What about Steam Deck?
Valve rates it Playable. On canirun the Deck clears the minimum and grades D against the recommended: the game runs, but it will struggle. The details are on For Honor on Steam Deck.
Can your PC run For Honor?
Here is how your setup grades against For Honor with the new reference:
| Game | Rec. GPU score | Rec. RAM | Min. RAM | Your PC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| | 9,050 | 8 GB | 4 GB | ? |
If your grade comes out tight, the full game page shows how every card does and which upgrade makes the most sense.
