Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is out: demo changes and which GPUs run it

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is out on Steam as of today, October 14, for $24.99, on Windows only. Auroch Digital launched it with a list of changes based on feedback from players of the demo. On October 13 we covered the requirements and the oddity that the minimum asks for a stronger GPU than the recommended. The Steam store page still shows that oddity today, and it is still a light shooter to run.
What it brings and what changed since the demo
You play as Ultramarine Malum Caedo or Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath in a branching campaign of more than 30 levels where you pick which planet to visit next. There are 40+ new enemies from the Nurgle, Tzeentch, Khorne and Slaanesh factions, a Mick Gordon guest track, and a navigation guide with a map.
These are some of the changes made after the demo:
- Bolt Pistol: magazine capacity goes from 6 bullets to 8.
- Ice World: the blizzard is less severe.
- Nyra: she can now melee while reloading her Bolt Pistol.

Both require DirectX 12. The minimum targets 1080p at 60 FPS on Low quality; the recommended targets 1080p at 60 FPS on High.
Which GPUs run it
The minimum oddity shows up in our check. The GTX 1650 and Radeon RX 580 fall below the GPU the minimum lists, yet they reach the recommended with a B grade (Solid). Grades are measured against the recommended requirement, with 16 GB of RAM.
With the other popular cards there is no doubt:
- GTX 1060 6GB: clears the minimum and the recommended, B grade (Solid).
- GTX 1660 Super and RTX 3050: A grade (Smooth).
- RTX 3060 and Radeon RX 7600: S grade (Overkill).
