Since August 27, Rockstar has not let a Thursday go by without announcing something about Grand Theft Auto VI. First came the Extended Look, then the DualSense controllers, the pre-orders for those controllers, the official album and the collector’s box. This calendar is updated every Thursday until launch, so you can come back here to see what dropped this week.
6 Thursdays in a row with an announcement

What will Rockstar announce? This calendar is updated that same day.

GTA VI: The Album
Rockstar and Atlantic Records announce the official album: 34 original tracks out November 19 alongside the game, on streaming, vinyl and CD. The first singles include tracks by Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards.
Controller pre-orders open
Both GTA VI DualSense controllers go up for pre-order in the US at 10:00 a.m. ET.
Limited-edition DualSense controllers
Sony and Rockstar reveal two GTA VI DualSense controllers, black and white, with a color-shifting finish and molded palm trees. They cost $84.99 and launch November 19.
GTA VI: An Extended Look
Rockstar premieres an extended look at the game, captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5. It debuted on Netflix and reached YouTube and the official site the same night.
How real is the pattern
Rockstar has not said it runs a fixed schedule, so treat it as a pattern, not a promise. What does show is that the announcements mix the game, hardware and merchandise: not all of them bring new information about GTA VI. The Extended Look was the only one that showed the game in motion; the rest were controllers, music and collectibles.
What is confirmed for November 19
- The game: launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It costs $79.99 for the standard edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition.
- The DualSense controllers: both limited editions, black and white, launch the same day for $84.99.
- The album: GTA VI: The Album has 34 original tracks and launches alongside the game.
- The collector’s box: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection arrives that day. It costs $399.99 and does not include the game.
Everything about the game, the map of Leonida and where to buy it is on our GTA VI page.
What about PC?
GTA VI launches on consoles only and Rockstar has not announced a PC version. If you play on a computer, the closest thing today is Rockstar’s latest work that is on PC. This is how your rig grades against those two:
| Game | Rec. GPU score | Rec. RAM | Min. RAM | Your PC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
 Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced | 17,050 | 16 GB | 8 GB | ? |
 Red Dead Redemption 2 | 9,500 | 12 GB | 8 GB | ? |
When Rockstar announces the PC version and its requirements, you will see it here and on the GTA VI page.
