HUSHED: what the game is and what PC you need to run it

HUSHED is a 1 to 4 player online co-op horror game, Windows only. Here are its minimum and recommended requirements, which graphics cards run it and how it does on Steam Deck according to canirun.

HUSHED is a 1 to 4 player online co-op horror game: your team is split by different senses, tied together by a rope, and hunted by a monster that hears your voice. You guide each other and try to escape before it catches you. It came out on April 6, 2026 on Steam, costs $4.99 and is Windows only. The good news for your PC is that the minimum is modest.

These are the official requirements from the Steam page:

The minimum calls for DirectX 11 and the recommended for DirectX 12. Disk space is the same either way.

Which graphics cards run it

Every card we check on canirun clears the minimum, from a GTX 1650 up to an RTX 5080. The difference is how much headroom each one has against the recommended requirement, which is what our grades measure:

  • GTX 1650, GTX 1060 6GB and RX 580: they clear the minimum but grade D against the recommended. They launch it, but they will struggle.
  • GTX 1660 Super, RTX 3050 and Arc B580: grade C, sitting tight between the minimum and the recommended.
  • RTX 2060, RTX 3060, RTX 4060 and RX 7600: grade B, they meet the recommended.
  • RTX 3070, RTX 4070 and RX 9070 XT: grade A, and the RTX 5070 and RTX 5080 reach S. Plenty of power to spare.

If you are on one of the lower cards, see what else yours runs: GTX 1650, GTX 1660 Super or RTX 3060.

Watch your memory: our grades assume 16 GB of RAM, which is exactly what the recommended asks for. With 8 GB you reach the minimum.

What about Steam Deck or Mac?

Valve rates it Playable on Steam Deck. Our benchmark comparison is more cautious: the Deck’s GPU falls below the game’s minimum and grades F against the recommended. The two readings disagree, so before buying it to play handheld, check the HUSHED Steam Deck page.

There is no native Mac or Linux version: the Steam page lists Windows only.
