ANOMALITH, FuRyu’s third-person survival shooter set in a Japan full of liminal spaces and Showa-era retro style, launches today, October 28, on Steam. It arrives with more than 120,000 wishlists, after a run at Steam Next Fest that the studio called its final event before release, and with a Peripeteia collaboration from Ninth Exodus timed to the launch. If you play on PC, the first thing to know is that it requires Windows 11 at both minimum and recommended, and 12 GB of RAM as the baseline.
ANOMALITH PC requirements
These are the official requirements from the Steam page:
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| GPU | GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon RX 5500 XT | GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 5700 XT |
| CPU | Core i5-6600 or Ryzen 5 2600 | Core i5-10400 or Ryzen 5 3600 |
| RAM | 12 GB | 16 GB |
| Storage | 40 GB | 40 GB |
| OS | Windows 11 64-bit | Windows 11 64-bit |
Both tiers list DirectX 11 and the same disk space. The page does not mention an SSD or ray tracing. It is Windows only: there is no native Mac or Linux version.
Which GPUs run it
The minimum is easy to reach, but the recommended spec asks for a midrange card. canirun grades are measured against the recommended requirement, with 16 GB of RAM:
- Clear the recommended: the RTX 2060, RTX 3060, RTX 4060, RX 6600 XT and RX 7600 grade B, Solid. The RTX 3070, RTX 4070 and RX 9070 XT move up to A, Smooth.
- Between minimum and recommended: the GTX 1660 Super, RTX 3050 and Arc B580 clear the minimum and land at C, Tight, against the recommended.
- Clear the minimum but struggle: the GTX 1650, GTX 1060 6GB and RX 580 will run the game, but grade D against the recommended. Expect to lower settings.
Watch your memory and OS too: with less than 12 GB of RAM or on Windows 10, you fall short of the minimum even if your GPU is good enough.
What about Steam Deck?
Valve has not verified it yet. Our spec-based estimate gives it an F and puts it below the minimum, but that is only an estimate built from the requirements, not a test on the Deck. You can follow the details on ANOMALITH’s Steam Deck page.
Can your PC run ANOMALITH?
