GeForce NOW Adds Phantom Blade Zero at Launch, Plus a WoW: Forever Reward and Mods
Phantom Blade Zero joins GeForce NOW at launch, alongside ATMOSFAR, Hunting Simulator 3, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam and more. There is also a WoW: Forever reward and mod.io mods in Cyberpunk 2077. Which ones are heaviest for your PC.
In this guide 4
Phantom Blade Zero, S-GAME’s kungfupunk action game built on Unreal Engine 5, is playable on GeForce NOW starting today, October 29. It is one of nine games joining the library this week. NVIDIA also announced an access reward for World of Warcraft: Forever, which launches November 4, and in-game mod.io support for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered. If your PC can’t handle one of these games, the cloud lets you play it without a new graphics card.
On October 23 we told you that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 was arriving on GeForce NOW at launch. This week’s big release is a different one.
The games joining this week
NVIDIA lists these games joining the GeForce NOW library:
- Phantom Blade Zero: new release on Steam, Oct. 28
- ATMOSFAR: new release on Steam, Oct. 29
- Hunting Simulator 3: new release on Steam, Oct. 29
- Queen’s Domain: new release on Steam, Oct. 30
- Dimraeth: Steam
- Dressmaker: Steam
- Halloween: Epic Games Store
- Hell Let Loose: Vietnam: Epic Games Store
- The Seance of Blake Manor: Steam
The dates are the release dates on each store. NVIDIA notes that availability on GeForce NOW may vary, because games are onboarded after they release and added throughout the week. The Seance of Blake Manor was also part of Xbox Game Pass’s second October wave, so you have two services to stream it from.
Phantom Blade Zero and the heaviest games we track on canirun
In Phantom Blade Zero you play Soul, a warrior framed for his master’s murder and gravely wounded, who has 66 days to uncover a conspiracy. NVIDIA highlights more than 30 primary weapons and over 20 Phantom Edges, with combat built on evasions, deflections and counterattacks. Ultimate members stream it with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance across PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, browsers and compatible TVs. GeForce NOW handles the download and the storage.
On canirun, Phantom Blade Zero’s recommended GPU scores 19,810, the same as Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. Hunting Simulator 3 sits close at 19,550. Of this week’s games that we have on canirun, the most demanding is ATMOSFAR, at 26,900. All four ask for 16 GB of RAM at the recommended spec. At the other end, Dimraeth scores 6,350 with 8 GB of RAM, so on a modest PC it is one you can try locally before paying for the cloud. For more games like that, check the list of games for low-end PCs. We don’t have data yet to compare Queen’s Domain, Dressmaker, Halloween and The Seance of Blake Manor.
World of Warcraft: Forever and mods in the cloud
World of Warcraft: Forever arrives on GeForce NOW on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 3 p.m. PT. The reward gives access to the game from launch until Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11:59 p.m. PT. It is available across all GeForce NOW membership tiers, but only for new WoW users who don’t already have a subscription, while supplies last, on a first-come, first-served basis. You redeem it from the Account Portal in your GeForce NOW account.
On top of that, Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 Remastered now have mod.io support directly in game.
If you want to try before subscribing, NVIDIA offers a day pass for Performance or Ultimate, and its cost can be applied toward a first monthly membership upgrade.
Can your PC run this week’s games?
Here is how your PC grades against the recommended requirement of the four most demanding games this week among the ones we have on canirun:
| Game | Rec. GPU score | Rec. RAM | Min. RAM | Your PC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| | 19,810 | 16 GB | 16 GB | ? |
| | 26,900 | 16 GB | 8 GB | ? |
| | 19,550 | 16 GB | 8 GB | ? |
| | 19,810 | 16 GB | 16 GB | ? |
If your grade falls short, the Phantom Blade Zero page shows which upgrade raises it the most, and GeForce NOW stays as your backup plan.
