Phantom Blade Zero, S-GAME Studio’s Wuxia action RPG built on Unreal Engine 5, launches today, October 28, on Steam at 7:00 PM PDT for $59.99. It arrives with an 88 on Metacritic and was already selling hard. On Steam’s global top sellers for the week of October 20 to 27, it trailed only Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, according to SteamDB. In its PC review, CGMagazine compares it to Devil May Cry for pace and to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice for intensity. Phantom Blade Zero PC requirements
On October 21 we told you the game was launching October 28 with DLSS 4.5 and path tracing, according to NVIDIA, and went over which GPUs cleared its requirements. These are the requirements on the Steam page on launch day:
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| GPU | GeForce GTX 1660 6GB or Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB | GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB |
| CPU | Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600 | Core i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X |

| Storage | SSD required (about 145 GB) | SSD required (about 145 GB) |

The minimum targets 1080p at 30 fps and the recommended targets 1440p at 60 fps. Both assume upscaling is on and use DirectX 12. RAM is the same at both tiers, so anything under 16 GB falls below the minimum. S-GAME also asks players to update their graphics drivers to the latest version. If you have a GeForce RTX, on October 22 we told you that NVIDIA’s new Game Ready driver adds DLSS 4.5 support for the game.
