Dungeon Rampage Remastered launches today: PC requirements and which GPUs run it

Dungeon Rampage Remastered launches today, November 3, as the 1.0 release on Steam. It is the return of the co-op dungeon crawler that started on Facebook in 2012, shut down in 2017 and became unplayable when Flash was discontinued, leaving a player base of 8 million without a home. Gamebreaking Studios rebranded the 1.0 launch as Remastered and is releasing it in HD. The good news for your PC: the minimum is a GTX 1050 with 4 GB of RAM.

It is a 1 to 4 player co-op hack-and-slash with procedurally generated dungeons, heroes like the Berserker, the Vampire Hunter and the Pyromancer, hundreds of weapons and pets that fight alongside you. It costs $14.99, and the store lists six DLC with skins and pets, such as the Dark Mage skin.

These are the requirements from the Steam page. The game is Windows only, needs a 64-bit processor and operating system, and the listing leaves the CPU model and Windows version blank:

The recommended spec also asks for a broadband internet connection.

Which GPUs run it

Every popular GPU we checked clears the minimum. The recommended spec does not name a card, it only asks for 4 GiB of VRAM, so it is worth confirming how much memory yours has.

• GTX 1650, GTX 1060 6GB and RX 580: clear the minimum and grade A (Smooth), measured against the recommended requirement.
• RTX 3050, GTX 1660 Super, RTX 2060, RX 6600 XT and Arc B580: also clear the minimum and grade S (Overkill) against the recommended, like every newer card on the list.
