TFC2: Collapse of the Bronze Age, the RTS from Wield Interactive published by MicroProse, left Early Access today, November 6, with version 1.0 on Windows, macOS and Linux. The update finishes the campaign and delivers the map editor the studio had promised. For your PC the news is good: the Steam page asks for 6 GB of RAM and 2 GB of storage, and it does not list a graphics card at all.
Three new missions conclude the story of Mutti and his family, which began with a burning Hattusa, and bring the campaign to 17 missions. The map editor is the same tool the studio used to build that campaign. You can place units, buildings and objects, and script events, triggers and dialogue with Lua. It includes a Mini Horde Mode template to get started. The playable factions are Assyrians, Egyptians, Babylonians and Hittites, and food is the central system: it feeds your population and your armies. Since October the game also uses a new art style, designed to make units easier to tell apart from the ground. On Steam it costs $14.39 today, with a 20% discount.
TFC2 PC requirements
These are the Windows requirements from the Steam page. The recommended spec is practically empty: it only says you need a 64-bit processor and operating system.

|---|---|---|
| GPU | Not listed | Not listed |
| CPU | Intel Dual Core or AMD equivalent | Not listed |
| RAM | 6 GB | Not listed |

What canirun says about your graphics card
The studio does not list any GPU, so there is no graphics bar to clear. On our game page, every popular card we check gets an S grade, “Overkill”: the GTX 1650, the RX 580, the RTX 3050 and the Arc B580, among others. What you do need to check is memory: the minimum is 6 GB of RAM. If your machine has a few years on it, also take a look at our list of games for low-end PCs.
Mac, Linux and Steam Deck
TFC2 has Mac and Linux versions with the same RAM and storage: 6 GB and 2 GB. On Mac it asks for OS X 10.4 or later with an Intel Dual Core or an Apple M1. On Linux it asks for Ubuntu 10 or later with an Intel Dual Core or an AMD equivalent. If you want more games like this, see games for Mac and games for Linux.
On Steam Deck, Valve rates it Playable. You can find the details on TFC2’s Steam Deck page.
