Everlast: Undying Tale, the first game from studio InSpades, enters Early Access on Steam today, Wednesday, October 28, on Windows, macOS and Linux. It’s an MMO-Lite action RPG: you can play solo, host your own public or private world, or join public servers with up to 100 players, and the studio says everything in the game is also designed to be done solo. The announced price is $24.99 with a 20% launch discount that brings it to $19.99, and InSpades says the price will go up at full release. For your PC, the key detail is that the minimum already asks for 16 GB of RAM.

Everlast: Undying Tale PC requirements

These are the requirements from the Steam page. The studio has not published recommended specs yet:

GPUGTX 1060 or RX 580 (6GB VRAM) or Intel Arc A380Not listed
CPUCore i5-6400 or Ryzen 5 1500X (4 cores)Not listed

Storage20 GBNot listed
OSWindows 10 64-bitNot listed

The minimum also calls for a broadband internet connection.

Which GPUs can handle it

With no official recommended spec, the minimum is the only reference for now. Based on canirun’s benchmark scores, the GTX 1060 6GB sits right at the minimum line, and the GTX 1660 Super, RTX 3050, RTX 2060 and Arc B580 all clear it too. The GTX 1650, on the other hand, falls below the minimum.

Memory deserves its own note: if your PC has less than 16 GB of RAM, you’re below the minimum even if your graphics card is up to the job.

Mac, Linux and Steam Deck

macOS support arrived with the update the studio shipped for Steam Next Fest. On Mac it asks for an Apple M2 chip, macOS Tahoe 26, 16 GB of memory and 20 GB of space. On Linux the minimum requirements match Windows. You can find more options in our lists of Mac games and Linux games.

On Steam Deck, Valve has not rated it yet. Our spec-based estimate gives it an F and puts it below the minimum, so it’s worth waiting for Valve’s rating before buying it for the handheld. The details are on its Steam Deck page.
