Where the Seeds Fall PC requirements: Windows 11, 16 GB and an SSD for a 3-hour game

Where the Seeds Fall, CygamesEdge’s first game, launches on Steam on November 5 at 5:00 AM UTC. That is midnight on the US East Coast and 9:00 PM on November 4 on the US West Coast. The Steam store page briefly showed November 6 by mistake, and the studio clarified that November 5 is the correct date. It is a third-person platformer of about 3 hours priced at $9.99 / €9.99, but its requirements are not small-game requirements: Windows 11, 16 GB of RAM and an SSD, even at minimum.

The SSD is required in both tiers, and the RAM is the same at minimum and recommended. The game is Windows only: there is no Mac or Linux version on Steam.

Which graphics cards run it

canirun grades are measured against the recommended requirement and assume 16 GB of RAM, which here is also the minimum:

• Clear the recommended: the RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 4060 and RTX 3070 grade B (Solid). The RTX 4070, RTX 5070 and RX 9070 XT get an A, and the RTX 5080 an S.
• Clear the minimum but not the recommended: the RTX 2060, RX 6600 XT, RX 7600 and Arc B580 land at C (Tight). The GTX 1660 Super and RTX 3050 grade D: they clear the minimum but will struggle.
• Fall below the minimum: the GTX 1650, GTX 1060 6GB and RX 580.

If you are on the edge, the demo has been on Steam since October 16. It is a challenging section with every action unlocked from the start and takes 15 to 30 minutes, so it is a good way to see how your machine handles it before you buy.

What about Steam Deck?
