Euro Truck Simulator 2 Coaches DLC arrives November 12: is your PC ready?
SCS Software confirmed that Coaches, the Euro Truck Simulator 2 coach DLC, releases on November 12, 2026, and detailed the ferries to Iceland. Here are the requirements, which GPUs clear the minimum and the recommended, and Steam Deck.
In this guide 5
SCS Software announced today, November 1, that Coaches, the coach DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, releases on November 12, 2026, and showed it off with an official trailer. It lands right after Iceland, the map DLC that releases on November 10, at a time when the game is very busy on Steam: it went from 14,889 to 50,519 concurrent players. If you are coming back for both, it is worth checking that your PC keeps up.
What Coaches brings
On October 12 we told you that SCS was preparing Coaches alongside update 1.62. Now there is a date and more detail. The DLC adds three officially licensed coaches:
- Scania Touring
- Volvo 9700 DD
- MAN Lion’s Coach
Each one drives differently and comes with customization options: chassis configurations, engine choices, interior trims and accessories. You can buy your own coach and take on passenger transport jobs.
The way you drive changes too. With passengers on board, smooth driving matters more than ever: take corners carefully, avoid harsh braking and keep an eye on the G-force indicator so your passengers have a comfortable trip.
How you get to Iceland
On October 27 we told you that Iceland releases on November 10. Yesterday SCS explained how you will reach it, since there is no road to the island:
- Hirtshals (Denmark) to Seyðisfjörður, based on a real Smyril Line service.
- Rotterdam Europoort (Netherlands) to Þorlákshöfn, a freight route run by Smyril Line Cargo in real life, adapted as a regular ferry for your truck and trailer.
- Ålesund (Norway) to Seyðisfjörður.
There is also an additional crossing to help you get around Iceland once you arrive.

Every GPU on our list clears the minimum. The difference is how they grade against the recommended:
- GTX 1650: clears the minimum but grades D (Struggles) against the recommended.
- RX 580: clears the minimum and grades C (Tight) against the recommended.
- GTX 1660 Super: meets the recommended, grade B (Solid).
- RTX 3060: runs it with room to spare, grade A (Smooth) against the recommended.
There are also Mac and Linux versions. On Linux, SCS asks for recent binary ATI or NVIDIA drivers and warns that MESA may not work reliably.
On Steam Deck, Valve rates it Verified. There is more on the game’s Steam Deck page.
